Christmas Eve Traditions!

Every Christmas Eve we go out to breakfast! We usually go with the Terrells! This year the Parrys and the Greens came along too! It takes a big table to fit all of us, but it is fun to get together with friends, and a special way to start the day!

After breakfast we go to a movie! We hardly EVER go to the movies so this is a big treat to the kiddos! This year we saw "BOLT"! It was in 3-D and it was really cute! Sky watched for a little while then she had more fun going up and down the stairs. Summer and Lake liked it, but it is hard to get my kids to sit still, comfortably for that long! By the end they were ready for it to be over!

For Christmas Eve night we always go to Grammy and Grandpas house for all kinds of goodies! Grammy always makes all kinds of different Hors d'oeuvres and finger foods and we just eat and eat and eat- oh! and visit too!

Johns Grandparents, Aunt Becca and Aunt Jady were able to come too, which was fun! We announced our "News" to them that night when Mell opened up their present! Mell has little picture frames across the top of her piano with each of their grand kids in them. So we got them new pictures of the girls and a new blank frame that said "Stephens #4 Coming in August"! It was fun to announce it with everyone there! We all went into the den and watched the Nativity which was nice because between funerals, broken legs and Johns crazy schedule we hadn't gotten to watch it yet this year! The girls were begging to go home so they could get this Santa Clause process rollin'! So we headed home and they went STRAIGHT to bed!
