What SWEET Girls I Have!

Today was a good day to be a Mommy! This morning I rolled out of bed to a pretty messy house and energetic girls! John left early with his chainsaw to start helping with the ice storm clean up. So I sat down and called to check on my parents to see how they are doing with no electricity. While chatting away with my Mom, Summer came in with bleach in one hand and laundry detergent in the other. "Mom which one do I use and how much?" she said. Wondering what she was up to, I told her to not mess with it because I have to sort laundry and empty all the hampers. "Already did it." she said. I'm thinking "Oh no!" she's started some kind of project that I didn't know about. So while still on the phone I take the detergent from her and head to the washer. This is what I found:

She HAD sorted ALL the laundry and had a load in the washer ready to go! WOW! I was very impressed! My attitude got a little better after seeing this! We started the washer and I thanked her for doing it and told her she did a great job! She said "Mom, you just go sit down and we are going to take care of everything today." That's how I've had time to catch up on my blogging! Sky woke up and Summer changed her diaper and made them all scrambled eggs for breakfast!

We had company for dinner the night before, so I had a lot of dishes to do-Summer did them all! She cleaned the counters off and wiped the stove down. Somehow she also got Lake in on the work.

This bedroom was a disaster after last night...it was BAD! Lake cleaned it all up, cleaned the closet and made the beds! The girls worked so hard and I didn't even ask them to. Not only did they work hard they did an IMMACULATE job! They didn't shove and stuff things under dressers and beds-they put everything where it goes! What sweet girls! The only thing they didn't think about is that now I know what they are capable of! They raised the bar really high! My big girls are going to be such a great help when the new baby comes! I sure do love my sweet girls!

That's SO sweet! Your girls are so considerate! The new baby will have 3 great sisters to take care of him/her!

And the video of Sky brightened my day...AFV would love that video! :)
