A funny quirk that all my girls have had, as they have grown up, is "song sensitivity"! What is "song sensitivity" you may ask! Certain songs bring them to tears INSTANTLY! With Summer it was "I am a Child of God". She would tear up and then try to slap whoever was singing it. We seriously were considering calling an Exorcist! For Lake, it was "Rock-a-Bye-Baby"! She would get sad and cry as soon as someone would begin to even hum the tune! But Lake wouldn't come out swingin' like Summer did! Well today we found out that Sky has the same inherited trait! The way we found out is that their is a baby crib that goes to their dollhouse. It has a button on it and when you push it it plays different baby songs. One of them is "Rock-a-Bye-Baby"! As soon as Sky heard it her bottom lip flew out and she began to cry. Having two older sisters, that have now outgrown this and also think it's really funny, Sky doesn't stand a chance! Summer and Sky were taking a bath together and Summer would sing it until Sky cried and then Summer would fake laugh until Sky would!
Sometimes torturing children is SO DARN CUTE! What a bunch of EMOTIONAL GIRLS! I don't know where they get it!
