Silver Dodder Silly!

While in Branson we went to Silver Dollar City! Lake likes it because there are so many rides that she is big enough to ride! She was so excited to go she was talking really fast about going to "Silver Dodder Silly"! She misspoke and then realized what she had said-then she cracked up and couldn't stop laughing! It was so cute! Then, of course, she kept repeating it!

John and I take turns riding with the girls on the rides-we sure miss having Nana around to even things up!

Hello Kitty!

One of the highlights of the day was going to the Saloon show! Air conditioning for 45 minutes was a major treat! I have no idea of how long this show has been going on! I saw it when I was a little kid! They change the show up every year-but it's still Can-Can girls, ragtime music and corny jokes!

Last time we were at SDC Kid fest they have a building that has all kinds of toys and kids crafts! The girls were begging to make this stuff called "Gooey Gunk". It's basically, tempra paint, Borax, Elmer's glue and water. The reason we didn't get it last time...it's 5 bucks! And you know-we're pretty cheap! So this time they came with their own money-so we couldn't say NO! But we did talk them into just buying one to share! Who needs 10 dollars worth of goop!

After they mix the ingredients, they pour it in the water and squish it up!

Yeah!-Gooey Gunk!

Since we talked the girls into not spending all their money on Goo, they decided to spend it on Ice Cream!
