What better way to spend the hot July days than at the lake!
Nice Mohawk Sky!
Hey Look! I found clay!
Summer and Pawpaw playing in the sand! Summer said she was making a swimming pool for Sky!
Fun in the SUN!
Sky just couldn't resist making the lake her own personal water bed!
Don't worry, she was sporting her SPF50!
We had a little boat trouble on Tuesday, but we made it back safely and nobody had to swim! Pawpaw fixed the boat and we were able to go back out on Saturday!
What's the best thing to eat at the lake?...WATERMELON!
YUMMY!
Uh-Oh! Is that a storm coming? Who cares-we have watermelon to eat!
Nana and Sky keeping warm in the water! It's to cold and windy too get out!
This time we were prepared! These are called "Redneck Raincoats"! The sad thing is...this is not the first time I have donned one of these fancy little numbers! Many times throughout my life-in all of our many float trips, lake trips or just being stranded because of our own "maybe it will go around us-let's wait and see!" mentality, I have been forced to wrap myself in a garbage sack to weather the storm!
But they work!
