Celebration City!

We put our season passes to use this week! We headed up to Branson for a little vacation to our favorite parks! The first day we went to Celebration City! We had lot's of fun riding rides and enjoying the beautiful atmosphere! We truly love this area of the country! We really tried to move up there. John and I had talked about settling down in this area before we were even married. Springfield is a "big enough" town with lot's of good "family" things to do. When we were job hunting, we were sure that "This was the Place". But, Heavenly Father had different plans for us! At least we can still go visit whenever we get the chance. We love the beautiful, lush tree covered hills, the crystal clear lakes and the VERY friendly, family oriented people in this area. People don't look at us like we are freaks because we have 3 kids! It's the "norm" around there to have bigger families! If the opportunity ever did arise that we could move there-it would be hard to stop us. We have so much fun enjoying the beautiful "MOSQUITO FREE" evenings!

This is in front of the Baby Lounge in the park. It is a quiet place that you can go to change diapers, nurse or just settle down "over-stimulated" babies. The girls thought the big chair was so cool!
Sky is always a great baby on these trips!

Sky watching her sisters ride all the fun rides!

Let me tell you about this ride! The first year we came here, John and I were talking about the different rides. There is a bigger ride like this in the park called the Accelerator http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QULuOijExMY (Very Fun)! I was telling him that it was kind of similar to the "Demon Drop" at Cedar Point! So when we went to the kiddie part of the park we saw this ride. Summer had heard us talking earlier and said "It's just like that other ride-you know...the Dingle Drop?" So after laughing about her translation, it has been the Dingle Drop to our family ever since!

This is the first year that Lake has been big enough to go on it!
While Daddy and Summer were riding a big ride, Lake and I looked through some fun shops!
The Girls felt "TOO COOL" in these glasses!
They have a little beauty shop that has a FREE nail painting booth! The girls thought it was so cool...until the realized that most of the polish was dried up or all gone! That's why it's...FREE!

They were still pretty happy with their clumpy, dried up, rainbow manicures!
And I was happy because it all chipped off by the next day!
One of Lakes favorite places in the park it the sprinklers! You know her-Water! Water! Water! She had fun running through the big squirts of water! She was cool for the rest of the evening!

Celebration City is a night time park. They don't open 'till 3pm and end with a fire work/laser light show at night! The first time we went, to the show, we sat right up front-just about lost our eyebrows! Not to mention terrifying our kids for the entire first season we went! Fire comes up out of the water and it's a little HOT! Flash Burn! Check it out!
Sky fell asleep before the fireworks...
Lake fell asleep DURING the fireworks...

Summer was out by the time we got out of the parking lot!
What a great day of family fun!
