Workin' Out!

So I read an article in a magazine the other day that said that weight lifting is good for kids! They used to say that weight lifting when you are young will stunt growth. But now they have found that moderate weight lifting in pre-teen children helps their bones to absorb more calcium, so when they go through puberty and their bones are growing really fast, they are much stronger! So long story-short...Summer worked out with Daddy this morning when he got home from work! We got her some 1lb, 3lb, and 5lb weights. Daddy had fun showing her how to do her exercises and she had fun having one-on-one time with Daddy!

Daddy had her using 10 and 15lb weights which are probably a little more than she needs, but she could do it!
