So, first it was the mini-van, now it's WHEAT! I am slowly becoming a "card carrying" Mormon Mom! We are trying to build up our food storage and learn how to use it! We opened our first can of wheat that we ordered last spring! Grammy gave us our own hand crank grinder-so we decided to try it out!
The girls had fun taking turns cranking the grinder!
We had a hard time keeping Lakes hands out of the cracked wheat! She was very curious about the different textures that could be made by grinding it!
We cracked enough to make "Spanish Wheat" for Sunday dinner! We'll see how it turns out! Next attempt-BREAD!
