What summer would be complete without getting caught on the lake in a thunderstorm!
We kept watching the storm, hoping it would just go around us...it didn't!
We had lightning and thunder all around us!
This time Pawpaw decided to try to make it home, instead of going for a swim. Last time he went swimming in a lightning storm, it was a little "SHOCKING"!
I would have taken more pictures, but it began to POUR! Nana cuddled up with the girls and I cuddled with my Uncle Chub. I though he was going to freeze! I told John to cuddle up with Pawpaw, but they both agreed that they were warm enough! Ha! Our fearless captain got us home safe and sound and soaking wet!

We had a great relaxing week and we can't wait to get back up there!

We will never forget being on the boat when your dad was shocked while swimming in the lake. That was scary! Sorry to hear about your grandma. Sounds like she was an amazing woman.
