The Stephens had another wonderful Halloween!

On Friday night, "Halloween Eve", or for my Michigan friends -"Devils Night", we went to a party at the Klaskys! They had a chili pot luck, Trunk-or-Treat, and they put on a GREAT Haunted House! John took Lake through, but she got too scared and had to come back. Summer went through probably 5 times with Jayden. Then John took Devan and Jaycee through-he was still laughing the next day! I guess not matter how old boys get, they still think it's funny to scare girls!
On Halloween we had a little get together at our house! We have never Trick-or-Treated or neighborhood before. We always went someplace else with our friends. So this year we were determined to stay put! We invited a few families over to go with us. Do you know what you get when you invite a FEW Mormon families...A Bunch of Freakin' People! When we left our house to start Trick-or-Treating we had 61 people!!! It looked like a mob! There were strollers rollin', kids runnin' and screamin', parents trying to stop speeding cars from plowing over the kids! We were quite a sight! But it was really fun to all be together! We kept going until the kids were getting tired and then headed back to our house.

When we got back to the house we had Cocoa and chips and the kids ran around...
...danced... 
and traded candy! 
It was a fun night with our friends!

Rains a baby cow, Mom's a Momma cow, and Dad's the Milker!". John was really the "Lost Boy on the side of a Milk Carton", but Lake had it all figured out, so we just went with it!

Cute cute!
I'll never forget Lake's face as she came running and crying out of the haunted house. I was just about to take Ben Mobley and Ethan Parry through-and I think Lake's face scared them into thinking they didn't need to go anymore...but we said a prayer and plowed on through! I hope she's not scarred for life-it was pretty scary!
