Pumpkin Hollow

One of the perks of your big sister being homeschooled is that you get to tag along on some fun field trips! On October 1st the girls and I went to Pumpkin Hollow with our homeschool group. I pulled Lake out of school so she could go to! We all met to caravan to a small town about 60 miles away. We had a picnic lunch and then started our tour. I was the head of the little kids group, so I have lots of pictures of Lake and Sky, but Summer went with the big kids, so I hardly saw her. We toured this pumpkin farm and learned lots of cool things!

Summer, Lake and Sky Feeding the giant catfish while...at SCHOOL!
"Say Cheesy!"

Summer, Jenna and Kendra on the hayride!

Feeding the sheep with a "Baa Baa here and a Baa Baa there!"

We sat on bales of hay to watch a movie...

It was very interesting!

We ground up corn in an old fashioned hand grinder to feed to the chickens!

We walked all over and......ended up in the pumpkin patch where we each got to pick out own pumpkins!

Happy Fall!
