Little Victories!

Sky is finally Potty Training! I usually don't push my kids to potty train too early because we are out running around a lot and I hate to take my little girls into the nasty, germ ridden public restrooms. But the time has come that she needs to get on with it so here we are! She is great about going Pee Pee in the potty, but she was a little nervous about going Poo Poo without a diaper. One day while Nana was here she did it! I was asleep and I heard everyone in the bathroom and Sky was getting out of the bathtub. Nana had heard Sky whimpering in the bathroom so when she went to check on her she had poop smeared all over the toilet, her legs and up her belly. She wasn't being messy, she had pooped in the potty and was trying to wipe herself but wasn't very successful at it. She was trying to be so big! So after Nana gave her a bath and got her all cleaned up she tried again and this was her prize! Talk about a proud girl! Now she knows that she still needs a grownup to wipe her for a little bit longer. She is doing great! The only problem that we have now is that every time she goes potty, she rips the pot out and comes running, pot sloshing, up to every single person in the house. She will stick the pot right up in our face to show us what she did! So now we have to teach her to keep her pot in the bathroom! Yes we cheered for her in the beginning, but when one of those sloshing pots get spilled on someone it won't be so fun!

Yeah for Sky! She's a Big Kid Now!
