Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

I don't know what it is about the month of March around here, but lately it has been starting with a SNOW STORM! Well not really a "STORM" but good playing snow! The girls had a good time playing with Lily and Juan on Saturday! It snowed for 6 hours that day!

Summer and Lily made this snow bunker to hide behind!

Sky learned how fun it was to throw snowballs too! She was having so much fun!

It had snowed so much that they canceled church on Sunday! So we slept in a little and headed to the best sledding hill in town! NO TREES! It's the front lawn of this church that is near John's parents house.

Lake was brave enough to try it again! She just got her cast off a little over a week ago!

Sky made her first couple of runs with John and Summer...but then....

She was brave enough to do it all by herself! After that she was hooked! I sometimes really struggle with my girls and their fearless nature and their independent spirits! But I'm so glad that my girls are brave, tuff chicks that are willing to try anything! I'm so glad that they will do things that might be a little scary at first, so they can gain confidence and enjoy life! We are always so proud of their little accomplishments!After sledding, we headed to Grammy and Grandpas house for lunch! They had beautiful, untouched snow. The girls just had to fix that problem! The girls had a great time and we were sure glad we had our fun sleds and nice warm snow clothes this time! And we were really glad that we didn't have any INJURIES!
