White Water

Lake Finally got to go to White Water this summer. She was sick the last time we were there and she didn't get to go. It was very sad for my "waterbaby". This time everything was perfect! They had been calling for rain, so we were a little worried, but eveything worked out great! Funny Story: My Mom SNORES! Sorry Mom! I had to tell for the sake of the story. We were all in the hotel, the morning that we were to go to White Water, and Lake crawled into bed with us. I was looking at the sunshine gleaming around the edges of the "blackout" hotel curtains. I knew that it was beautiful outside! I asked Lake "Do you think it's raining outside?". I wanted to see if she would make the connection by seeing the sunshine around the curtains. She paused and thought about it, then she said "No, I think that's just Nana." When I realized that she thought, that I thought, I was hearing THUNDER-I just had to laugh! And retell the story a lot!

We spent the whole day there and had a great time! Sky hung out with Nana all day. I think that she has decided that Nana is HERS when we are on vacation. She just wants to be with Nana. I tried to take her so Nana could go with Lake, but Sky got really sad. She just wanted Nana!

Summer and I went on this big racing waterslide. I NOW call it the "Wedgie Maker". Oh My Gosh! I was a little afraid of what my swimsuit was going to look like when I got to the bottom! It was pretty harsh!

This is Sky going down the "Kiddie" waterslide, the 2nd time, all by herself! The first time she did it, and got off it and said "WEEE". So she wanted to do it again, but this time it scared her a little! But, I still can't believe how brave she was! My girls are no "lightweights" when it comes to adventure!

We had a great day in the water and sun! We would really make great beach bums! Give us sun, warm weather, and water and we will be happy forever!
