Valentines Day began for me at 6am, curling little girl hair! They both wanted "fancy" hair for Valentines Day! I got the girls off to school, just in time to get a shower and babysit for my friend Tara so she could go to her daughters V-Day party. John came home from work with roses, tulips and a card for me! Sweet Husband! Then he changed clothes and headed to Summer's school to suprise her for lunch. He took her a box of candy and a pink rose! She was THRILLED! So then he picked up Lake from preschool and presented her with candy and a pink rose! She was THRILLED too! Sweet Daddy!
By then it was bedtime for John. I took Lake and Sky to Grammy's for the afternoon so I could go to Summer's school party!
I don't know how it is in other elementary schools, but at ours, every kid has at least one adult with them at every school party! I'm amazed at how many dads, grandmas, grandpas, aunts and uncles show up to support their kids party! People take off work to make it to each party! It's really amazing! Summer had a fun party and had yummy ice cream sundaes! I checked her out early and headed home, just long enough to order dinner from PizzaHut.com, which I highly recomend on a hectic day! I set it to be delivered at 5pm. Then I took Summer to a Doctors appointment, headed back to Grammys to pick up Lake and Sky. Got home at 4:55, the doorbell rang at 5:00 with our pizza.
I woke John up, we gobbled up our pizza, opened presents, and Summer and I headed back to the school for Summers basketball game at 5:45, which they won 28-16! Then back home, so John could go back to bed. I bathed kids and put them to bed! Now I'm ready for bed! John has to work this weekend, so we are going to TRY to have a Valentines date next weekend, if we can! Fun day! Lot's of Luv! Happy Valentines Day! I need a NAP!
