How do John and I spend our first weekend of February every year? By being "Carnies"! A few years ago Johns paintball addiction led him in a new direction. He had helped these guys with a paintball shooting booth at the Sport Show. I had no interest whatsoever. Around our home, paintball has always kind of been "The Other Woman" in Johns life! Long story short, John ended up buying the booth from his friend who needed some money. So, when the next sport show came around, John set it all up and had some buddies help him. Again, not real exciting to me until...he came home with boxes full of CASH! All of a sudden I became interested real quick! So now every year we spend the weekend being "Carnies"! We have 2 paintball guns and people shoot 10 shots/$1.00. People think it's great because it's only a buck. But, the next thing you know they've blown $10.00 and don't even realize it. It's 3 LONG days, and kind of messy but in the end it's worth it! Anyways, it's a nice little boost for the savings account each year. As a wife, I have to admit, this was a good investment on Johns part!
