This is What Happens...

Yesterday, Summer had a day off for MLK day. So we enjoyed waking up without an alarm. The girls were being so sweet and doing nice things for me. While I was doing my yoga, the girls surprised me by making my bed and then when I was done, I found this....

They left me breakfast on the kitchen table! What sweet girls!

The girls played great and kept themselves entertained-So much that I was able to get ALL of the laundry sorted, washed, folded and put away (all in the same day!) I was quite proud! The girls played with toy makeup and dress up and didn't make a big mess at all! So what happens when you have a good day like this...
Lake started to come down with a fierce fever! (That's makeup on her face). She fell asleep and napped for a while. Then the puking began! Did I mention that I had all the laundry DONE! And Lake does pretty good, but she's not real fond of puking in a bowl, so the carpet, her clothes, the blankets, and couch seemed to be a better alternative to her. So today I'm shampooing carpets, and doing more laundry-Did I mention I had all the laundry done?
That's my life! This is my poor baby at 3:30am this morning, right after she puked in my bedroom floor! Even though it's not the most glamorous job to be covered in "puke chunks" at 3am, I sure am glad I get to be here with them to take care of them! All my girls are good patients! They are not "whiny" sick kids! They are tough little chicks! Lakey is still feeling pretty yucky and running a fever, but I think she is going to make it!
