Sky's PAR-TAY!

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY SKY!

Saturday was Sky's 1st Birthday Party! It was a great day! It was a family effort to get everything together!

Summer and Lake helped me decorate...

...and do the treat bags!

John helped me get the house ready, cook, and he even had to help me with decorating the cake! I made the icing a little too thick, so John had to make most of the stars, because my hands weren't strong enough!

I thought it turned out pretty cute for a "team effort"!

We started the party by putting Sky down for a nap and then having lunch! The Terrells and Haskins and Grammy came to help fill our home with little girls! For lunch we had pumpkin rice casseroles and corn bread! It was yummy!

After we ate lunch the girls brought out the Hannah Montana CD and turned it into a dance party!

We did a game at Lakes party last year that they wanted to do again! Very Simple! You turn on the music and they dance...then when the music stops, they drop to the floor and act like they are asleep! They will do this for a long time and they LOVE IT!

Although Sky wasn't in the middle of the dance party, she still got the "BEAT" once in a while!

Time for PRESENTS! Sky has absolutely no clue of what to do, and the crowd of little girls surrounding her was a little distracting! But, once they were opened, she had fun looking them over!

"So what do I do with this?"

"WOW! My First Dollar! Thanks Uncle Chub and Sissy!"

"Wow...that was exciting."

Bring on the CAKE!

"HOORAY FOR CAKE!"

John and Josh were severely outnumbered! Thanks to our great friends, (I mean family), who are always there to help us celebrate! We're grateful they could come and share this fun day with us! Sky is such a great baby and we look forward to many, many more years of birthdays with her! We love you SKY!
