Today Summer had to do a book report! Instead of writing it they had to dress up like a character from the book and do a commercial for their book! Well, since Summer had her Pirate costume from Halloween she just had to have a pirate book. But, not just any Pirate book, one about a GIRL PIRATE! For your information, "girl pirate books" are hard to find! But I finally found one at Books-a-Million. I think that store is named that because of the way they price their books! SHEESH! I'm used to the girls school book order prices! Anyway, the parents were invited to come watch them do their character parade in the auditorium. So I went thinking that Summer would do her book report on stage, instead this was it...

There are 9 second grade classes, so I guess it would have taken forever! But she had fun and it was cute to see all the different characters! It was a cute idea!
