In June we got to go to Cape Girardeau, MO to see Uncle Ben and the rest of the Blue Angels! It was fun, but John had a BLAST!!!
Uncle Ben gave us the VIP treatment and showed us all around the hangers and showed us lots of different planes!
John doesn't get to do much "BOY" stuff, so he was just in HEAVEN!

It was VERY HOT that day, but we were lucky enough to get to be in the Blue Angels tent. They had free drinks and tables and chairs to rest at and escape the sun!
After the show we got to go out on the tarmac and have our picture taken with Uncle Ben and the pilots and the planes. What a neat opportunity!
Afterward we went to meet up with Uncle Ben and have dinner with the rest of the team. We had a little time to kill so we explored the riverfront!

On the way home EVERYONE passed out! It was a hard drive home! John and I were both so tired and we were lucky to make it home safe! It was a very fun, memorable day! Thanks Uncle Ben and we can't wait 'till you come to Memphis next year!
