Last weekend we went up to the farm to help Nana and Pawpaw clean up after the ice storm. On Sunday when we came home from church we saw this...
A fire had started and jumped into the woods across the road!
Dad came home to find the volunteer fire department there working on it. So he jumped in to help as much as he could!
The wind was blowing really strong that day, so the fire spread pretty fast! They didn't know how it started, but it sure got big quick!
There wasn't any damage, other than their fence melting like butter! The fire went through so quick that it didn't even burn any of the fallen limbs in the field. Now that's a shame!
That black spot will sure have some pretty grass in a couple of weeks! You just never know the adventures you'll have at the farm!
