Winter Wonderland!

It wouldn't be Christmas without a trip to Winter Wonderland! The girls love exploring the beautiful displays!Cheeeeessseeee!!!

Sky is at the age where everything is so new and exciting! I love to see her take it all in!

Of course we can't leave until we talk to Santa. Lake waited almost the whole time in line. I guess she decided she had a few last minute things she needed to tell him!

Afterwards we went and ate YUMMY Italian food! Then headed to the Mall for our annual "Picking of the Ornament"! We try to get something that reminds us of the last year. I tried to get them to agree on one that had to do with school, since this was our first year of home school. But, I was out voted! We decided to commemorate this year with this ornament:

This will be known as the year we learned about "Snowballs"! (Hot Chocolate with a scoop of vanilla ice cream). Cocoa is much more significant to kids than education! Oh well! It was a fun family date! I love Christmastime!
