Saturday we headed out to the park for a day of fun in the sun with the Haskins and Terrells! We stayed ALL day! We took the bikes, soccer balls and a picnic and set up camp for the day! The weather was beautiful and there was a nice pleasant breeze. The kids played all day and were able to run free (something that all of our kids don't really get to do that often). What works well about this group of friends is that whenever our three families are all together each child has a "buddy". Devan and Jaycee 12 yrs, Summer and Jayden 8 yrs, Jillian and London 6 years, Lake and Riley 4 yrs and Jenna (almost 4yrs) and finally Sky and Jaxon (both 2006 models). Now Heather and Sean are both sick and pregnant together, so the tradition lives on. Between our 3 families "currently" there are 3 men and 14 women and daughters-no boys...as of yet! People do look at us kinda funny when we go places together! It's pretty funny to see how our girls act if somebody messes with one of them on the playground! The little punk kid doesn't know the "bees nest" their stirring up! Next thing you know there are 14 little girls ready to take 'em on! There's definitely safety in numbers! I'm glad to have such great friends. They truly are like our family and our kids are like cousins to each other. It's so fun to ALL get together!
