Uncle Rusty came to visit from Michigan! He is my Dads brother that is just older than him. When I was little he would come over to visit and he would always bring me a "poke"! A "poke" was a brown paper sack with random stuff inside! Sometimes it might be something cool like candy or toys, or it might be a door knob and a spool of string! Ya' just never knew! But I always looked forward to the surprise! I remember many circuses and county fairs that he would take me to. It was always an ADVENTURE, to say the least! So now that I'm all grown up, he brings "pokes" for my girls! He comes to visit about 3 times a year, so we always try to make sure we get to see him. On Saturday he took us out for lunch then we all went to the park. He watched the girls play and feed the ducks, while Mom and I took a walk. Then the kids got bored and wanted to got to the other farm where he was wanting to go to take a nap. Long story short, the girls were crying and mad at me because I wouldn't let them go. "WE WANT TO GO WITH UNCLE RUSTY!" they whined all the way back to Nana and Papaws! He'll be back in a few weeks-he'll get good and sick of them then!
The girls LOVE that Nana and Papaw have satellite TV, because they only get to watch PBS at our house! So they love to catch up on all of their annoying shows when we go to the farm!
Papaw finally got himself a 4 wheeler! Summer hasn't let him ride it by himself since! She had fun running around the fields all weekend!
Sky closely checking out the grass!
Lakey shading herself under an umbrella!
It was a beautiful weekend and we sat out side in the warm sunshine and enjoyed the fresh air while the kids played and Nana flew the kite! It's so nice when school is out because then we aren't restricted to just the weekends! We always love going to the farm!

Summer's Baptism looked wonderful! Again, I really miss Jonesboro! Your blog always makes me want to move back. :)
