My baby is off for her first day of 2nd grade! She got up early so I could curl her hair. She picked out her outfit and felt so pretty! Her friend Elora is in her class so she is pretty excited! I love the school she is in so much! I didn't cry, make a spectacle of myself or run into any telephone poles this year-so I guess I'm getting better at this!
I sat in traffic for 30 minutes dropping her off at school...the crazy thing is that the school is only about 1/2 mile from our house!
Another funny thing is that the other two mom's that I carpool with were on each side of me while sitting in traffic. Sarah in front and Dana in back! Out of hundreds of cars lined up everywhere, we were right there-3 in a row! It made me laugh! Once things settle down, we'll start taking turns driving the kids to school. Then I'll only have to drive every third week!
