Memorial Day Weekend

Every year, on Memorial Day weekend, Salem hosts a festival and parade. They call it "Old Timers Day". People from all over the country come back to the area to reunite with old friends that they once knew. They hold many class and family reunions on this day. My Uncle Rusty, who is 69, went to his class reunion. Out of 34 classmates-27 were there! So, lot's of people make a point of coming for this weekend. The highlight for my girls is being in the "Kiddie Parade". All the kids ride bikes, scooters, roller skate etc. The girls love Daddy pulling them in the wagon, so they can throw candy to the onlookers!

Our beautiful FLOAT!

Sky was going to be in the parade, but she didn't want to ride in the wagon!

Train ridin' fun!
